Quantum Jump

A super cool memory popped in my mind yesterday while working out

and since the message could be a great reminder for many, I thought I would share.

A few years ago while I was on vacation in Miami, I decided to go for a run on the boardwalk along the ocean. 🏃‍

It was a nice and quiet morning and I was really enjoying the scenery.

I could see that there were signs along the path identifying the kilometers but just assumed that they were part of a past event.

As I was on my way back, still almost all by myself on the boardwalk, I suddenly started to feel a vibration underneath my feet.

While running, I looked around and behind me but could’t see anything

until the difference in vibration became so intense that I couldn’t ignore it!

As I was trying to get out of the way for whatever was coming

two tall and very muscular runners who were part of a triathlon - hence the kilometers signs! - showed up on each side of me, strongly grabbed me by the arms and lifted me while still running!

Up in the air, not even touching the ground but still in a “running” motion between those huge dudes, I looked like a puppy being held above water!

The two guys were just chuckling!

Some fifty meters later, they finally put me on the ground while still running, turned around, smiled, winked and went on with the race.

I just couldn’t believe the experience I’d just had!

As I was continuing on my own legs and feet I thought

that’s what it must feel like to experience a quantum jump!

Think about it.

One moment I was all alone, sweating, taking one step after the other

the next, a strong all encompassing energy made me aware of its presence

And when I stepped out of the way, I got carried by a power much greater than me.

For that to happen, I didn’t have to do anything nor question my worth or deservingness.

It just did.

Isn’t the same when we finally stop trying to figure it all out by ourselves?

Isn’t interesting that in our attempt to create, plan or change an area of our life, we often try to do it all alone, and control our circumstances thinking that it will take us where we want to be.

Only to end up feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or at best exhausted.

Don’t get me wrong, to create something new, we must take inspired actions along the way.

But we also have to remember that we live in a vibrational universe governed by a benevolent force that our human mind can barely comprehend.

And so at times, the best thing we can do is to step out of our own way, and let a power greater than us take over and carry us for a bit.

That’s what I call a quantum leap.

Being willing to lose control for a bit as it always helps us move our present forward.

Isn’t cool?!
